How To Get Your Free Credit Report

Caution: There is only one source for truly free credit reports.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires that the national credit bureaus provide you one free credit report upon request during any 12-month period. Unfortunately, this does not include your credit scores. They only have to give you the reports as the law is currently written.

The Big Three

There are 3 reports that we need: Experian, Trans Union and Equifax. If you have not received your free copies within the last 12 months, you may do so by going to the government mandated website: AnnualCreditReport.com

TIP! Make certain that you print a copy for your records, as you will have limited access.

Also beware, the bureaus have structured their web page in a way that appears to confuse many consumers into thinking they have to buy their reports. THIS IS NOT SO. If you get confused by the bureaus' web sites, call us for help.

If You Must Purchase...

If you have already recevied your free annaul reports and must purchase this copy, you can do so here: All Three
